I have recognized the impact interiors have on my emotional wellbeing for a long time, but the uncertainty of an international pandemic, paired with spending so much time at home, has encouraged me to explore it on a deeper level. While certain restrictions are inevitable due to budget, renting, or even the lack of builders, there are some small touches that I've found to have a huge impact! So, while I'm really no expert, I wanted to share what I do to make my home feel like a little haven and keep my anxiety at bay.
For the 9th installment of Design Dilemmas, Heather and I focused all our attention on one open plan apartment in Laguna Beach. The owner has been a loyal Frances Loom customer for many years, so it was a real pleasure to offer our advice! Week 10 was back to our usual format; 3 spaces, all with a very different dilemma to address. We'd love you to share your thoughts in the comments, or send us your own query here.
The 7th and 8th installments of Design Dilemmas feature a pre-war apartment in Brooklyn and a granny annex in Aus! We tackle kitchen cupboards and suggest some wonderfully eclectic pieces from lots of great brands. Have a read and share your thoughts in the comments!
