Project Inspo: Stone

I am mentally deep into planning a new house for my parents (and occasionally me, more on that later). While we're yet to settle on a floor plan, one thing I know for sure (albeit prematurely) is that I want to use a lot of stone.

The home is in Utah, in a very special area that has large lots and wild, unmanicured landscaping. There's a creek running through the grounds and I want the new home to look like it's been there forever.

Enter stone: natural, raw and earthy... I love the vibe it brings inside and out. Take a look through some of my inspo pics - I'm particularly taken by the new Joanna Gaines property (she's a genius) and the modernized Catalonian farmhouse which has basically gone viral.
